Telecom Companies To Implement 50% Tariff Hike Despite NLC’s Position


The telecommunications companies operating in Nigeria have decided to proceed with the implementation of a 50% hike in data, call, and other tariffs after they receive approval from the regulatory body.
The Nigerian chairman of the Association of Telecommunication Companies of Nigeria (ATCON), Gbenga Adebayo, made the plans known to the public when he said Globacom, Airtel, and MTN are putting all necessary measures in place before enforcing the hike.
