Nigerian singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has shed light on why he is consistently booked for performances, stating that his success comes from delivering more than just his music on stage. “Let me explain to you why I get booked so much. I don’t come on stage to sing (of which I know I’m so good at); I bring my whole personality on stage—it’s not a joke.
“It’s not by having hit songs; you can have a million hit songs and still be clueless on stage at a 200-capacity venue.”
