Portable Accuses Colleague Davido Of Living A Fake Life
Popular hip-hop singer Habeeb Okikiola, with the stage name Portable, has called out Afrobeat legend Davido for living a fake life and misleading him about signing him into a record label.
The street singer mentioned in a now-viral video that Davido advised him not to sign with Sony Music but with Empire Records instead, only for him to realize that the Afrobeat star was signed to Sony Music. He mentioned that the advice that Davido gave him could have stopped his success, including a shot at winning a Grammy Award.
Habeeb Okikiola also accused Davido of exaggerating his assets and the cost of the watches and other things that he purchases. He also prayed that the fake life would not haunt Davido and concluded by wishing Wizkid blessings.
The issue between Portable and Davido was reported to have begun last year in Atlanta.
