Police Nabs Suspected Cultist “Black Jesus” In Ogun State


The police in Ogun State have arrested and detained Peter Falola, a suspected cultist who is also known as “Black Jesus,” for arson, assault, and vandalism of property valued at more than ₦1.4 million in Agbado.
Omolola Odutola, the Ogun State Police PRO, confirmed that “Black Jesus” was arrested on January 20, 2025, after a violent clash occurred at Oladipupo Adeniran’s residence on Ifelodun Street on January 15.
The suspected cultist was said to have attacked Adeniran with a bottle of beer, stabbing him many times and finally putting fire to his house.
Among the things that Falola destroyed were phones, a gas cylinder, and ceilings.
The police swiftly arrested Falola following a complaint that was made to the security agency and confirmed that the suspect is currently undergoing interrogation. After the interrogation, he will be moved to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Abeokuta for more investigation.
