Police Inspector Dies During Sneaky Link In Abuja
Lawal Ibrahim, a police inspector at the Kwali Division, passed away in a hotel during an encounter with a woman in the Gwagwalada Area Council of Abuja.
The inspector died in the Palasa Guest Inn, a place that he visited with a lady identified as Maryam Abba.
According to a report that was released, it was mentioned that the police officer had done two rounds; the second was done early Thursday morning when Maryam Abba discovered he was not breathing well, and he stopped moving despite her efforts to ensure that he survived.
Abba immediately called for help when all of these happened, causing the hotel manager to report the case to the Gwagwalada police division. Upon the arrival of the police, they saw his lifeless body in the room.
The lady has since been taken into custody, and police have also commenced an investigation to find what led to the late officer’s death.
