Renowned Nollywood actress Ronke Odusanya has revealed details about the breakdown of her marriage to Saheed Olanrewaju, popularly known as Jago, attributing it to the actions of a deceptive friend.

In a conversation with actress Bimpe Akintunde, Ronke shared that her friend had planted false stories, telling Jago she was planning to leave him to pursue a life of prostitution. The friend even claimed that Ronke had spent the night at a senator’s home with their daughter, Fife—allegations that deeply shocked her.

Reflecting on how these rumors affected her relationship, Ronke said:

“When things reached a boiling point, my partner realized he had made a mistake by trusting those claims.”

“It left me speechless when he shared these accusations with me,” she continued. “At that point, I had less than ₦10,000 in my account, all my jewelry was gone, and the shock made me faint. I had no idea where to start, and I cried endlessly that day, knowing I couldn’t even afford a place to stay.”
