“Nigeria Targets 24-Hour Power Supply in Just Five Years—TCN Promises Change!”

The Managing Director of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), Engr. Sule Abdulaziz, has announced that Nigeria is set to achieve a stable 24-hour power supply within the next five years. He made this declaration during an interview with Channels TV in Abuja on Sunday.

When asked about the timeline for generating between 20,000 and 25,000 megawatts (MW) for consistent power, Abdulaziz confidently asserted that this goal would be met in under five years.

In response to the interviewer’s question about whether Nigeria could reach that power level in ten years, Abdulaziz stated, “I’m telling you, we are going to get it in less than five years. The new Minister is focusing on identifying the core problems and is not just putting on a show. He is dedicated to increasing electricity in this country, which is why I’m sure we will succeed.”
