Nasarawa Polytechnic Student Arrested for Killing Friend


The Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested John Gambo, an ND2 Banking and Finance student at the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa, for allegedly killing his friend.
Police spokesperson SP Ramhan Nansel confirmed the arrest after Madam Mercy Bassey reported a dispute between her tenant and his friend.
Officers arrived to find Ibrahim Matthew, an ND2 Computer Science student, critically injured. He was rushed to Nasarawa General Hospital but died. Gambo confessed to attacking him with an axe and a knife.
The police recovered the blood-stained weapons as evidence for the ongoing investigation and legal proceedings.
