Daniel Anidugbe, an Afrobeats singer with the stage name Kizz Daniel, has announced that he has officially retrieved the masters of his first album, New Era, from G-Worldwide, his former record label.

The announcement was revealed on Monday on his X account, where he mentioned that he reclaimed the rights to his hit singles, including “Sofa” and “Yeba.”

He stated that the retrieval means a lot to him.

He wrote, “From long nights in the studio to several meditations, finally, I now own every song on the ‘New Era Album’ 2016 + Yeba & Sofa (singles).

“I got my masters back. This means more than words can explain. Thank you for riding with me. #NewEra #MyCatalog #Grateful.”

The album, New Era, which was his first, was released on May 14, 2016. Kizz Daniel left the record label in 2017 and established his record label, Flyboy I.N.C., where he later made his former rival, Emperor Geezy the CEO two years ago.
