Dr. Abdul-Azeez Adediran, widely known as Jandor, has finally said goodbye to his former party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), after he dumped them to rejoin the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Jandor announced on Monday, March 17, in a press conference he hosted in the Ikeja part of Lagos, weeks after he resigned from the PDP.

The former PDP Lagos guber candidate linked his departure from the PDP to consistent internal conflicts within the party and a lack of party discipline; he equally expressed his frustration with the failure of the party to address anti-party activities from bigwigs within the party in the last general election.

Jandor, in the press release, reflected on what he encountered in the party; he stated, “Our journey in the PDP was filled with political sabotage, but we have chosen to prioritize our future over grievances from the past.”

Jandor finally decided to join a party focused on electoral success and governance after extensive consultations with family, political allies, and supporters.
