Gospel Artist Timileyin Ajayi Confesses To Killing Girlfriend Over Cheating Allegation
32-year-old gospel singer Timileyin Ajayi has confessed to killing Salome Adaidu, his 24-year-old girlfriend, over infidelity as his reason.
The gospel singer has been taken into custody at the Nasarawa State Police Command in Lafia and claimed that he did not regret his actions.
Ajayi mentioned to Channels TV that Salome’s infidelity actions were revealed to him after he checked her phone.
“She was cheating. She hides most of the things from me most times. I saw her chats with other guys on the phone,” he said.
Ajayi admitted he acted impulsively, stating, “It’s not something I planned. It happened on that day, and it happened.”
He refused to show remorse for the crime he committed.
“Life is reciprocal; that is what I thought. I don’t have any regrets because we were compatible,” he added.
Salome was a serving member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Abuja before her untimely death. She paid a visit to the gospel singer in his home in New Karshi, part of the Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, before finally falling victim to Ajayi’s heinous crime.
