Former Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy Ohanenye Speaks After Being Sacked by Tinubu

Uju Kennedy Ohanenye, the former Minister of Women Affairs, has finally broken her silence following her removal from office by President Bola Tinubu. In a recent statement, Ohanenye expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to serve in the government and reflected on her time in office.

Speaking about her tenure, she acknowledged the challenges and progress made during her short time as minister, especially in advocating for women’s rights and empowerment. While addressing her dismissal, she maintained a positive outlook, expressing her continued commitment to the cause of women in Nigeria.

“I am grateful to President Tinubu for the opportunity to serve my country. While my tenure was brief, I remain dedicated to improving the lives of Nigerian women and will continue to work toward their empowerment in any capacity I can,” Ohanenye said.

Her removal came amid a recent cabinet reshuffle by Tinubu’s administration, which has seen several ministers replaced in efforts to strengthen the government’s performance in key sectors.
