Davido Collaborates With Spiro To Launch Electric Bikes Across Africa

The Afrobeats legend and ‘Aye’ crooner Davido has announced on social media his latest achievement: partnering with the African firm Spiro, which manufactures electric vehicles, to launch his line of electric bikes across the African continent this year.

This agreement will help to boost sustainable transportation solutions across Africa, including Nigeria.

Spiro is not new in this business, as they had earlier deployed more than 22,000 electric bikes and also built many battery swap stations in countries like Benin, Togo, Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Ghana, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Angola, and Tanzania.

Spiro’s initiative provides riders with opportunities to exchange batteries safely and quickly in a few minutes at the established stations.
