Charles Okocha Reveals Why He Kept His 7-Year Relationship Private
Popular Nollywood actor Charles Okocha, also known as Igwe 2Pac or Mr. Phenomenal, has explained why he kept his seven-year relationship with his now-wife private. In a recent interview with Sunday Scoop, Charles revealed that he has been dating her since 2017, but kept their relationship away from the public eye.
He shared:
“I’m getting married because it feels like the right thing to do.”
“We’ve been together since 2017, quietly, without any social media displays of affection. She’s based in America and works as a nurse. So, yes, it’s true.”
Reflecting on his personal journey, Charles expressed that after years of being a single father, he feels it’s the right time to take the step of marriage.
He added that marriage feels like a natural progression at this point in his life.
When asked about his children’s reaction to the news, he said, “My kids are very comfortable and happy about it.”
