Seun Okinbaloye, a popular figure in Channels TV’s political space, has denied the rumours that linked him to any affiliation with a secret cult, reaffirming his belief in God.

The rumour sprang up after a video was shared on social media that suggested his involvement in a cult group. In his response, the political correspondent mentioned that the video was taken when he visited his former school, where he graduated from the Department of Theater Arts.

He further clarified that the program where the video was taken was just an induction program for the newly admitted students of the Department of Performing and Film Arts, not a cult initiation.

Speaking while hosting popular lawyer Femi Falana on Monday, Seun said it was a “video I made when I went back to my alma mater, where I studied theater art.

“That was an induction program for new students in the performing and film art department where I did mine about 25 years ago.

“I went back to honor
them and welcome them into the creative community, but people said they didn’t know I have traditional occultic power.

“I’m not a member of a secret cult; I’m a child of God. I’m a Christian born into a Christian family.”
