BREAKING NEWS: Manchester United Part Ways with Ten Hag

Manchester United have sacked manager Erik ten Hag after two and a half years at the helm. The Dutch coach was informed of the club’s decision by the board on Monday morning, just hours after the team’s loss to West Ham at the London Stadium on Sunday.

Ruud van Nistelrooy, who joined the club as Ten Hag’s assistant last summer, has been appointed as the interim manager.

The defeat against West Ham, which ended 2-1, left United in 14th place in the Premier League, with only three wins from their first nine matches. Additionally, the team sits 21st out of 36 in the Europa League standings.
