BBNaija’s Vee Opens Up: ‘Why I’ve Never Felt Real Love
During her appearance on the Dear Ife podcast, BBNaija star Vee revealed that she has yet to experience true love, citing the need for trust and vulnerability, which she admits she currently lacks.
“I don’t think I’ve ever truly been in love. To fully enjoy love, you need to let your guard down and trust completely, and that’s something I haven’t been able to do yet. I’ve loved someone, but I don’t believe I’ve ever been blindly in love,” Vee shared.
She went on to explain that while she can overlook certain red flags in a relationship, dishonesty is a dealbreaker for her. “I’m the kind of person who will notice a red flag and keep it in my pocket, but I’m aware of it. Everyone has flaws, but lying is the one thing that makes me step back and keep my walls up.”
Vee also recalled an incident where a woman accused her partner of infidelity, sharing explicit photos with him. When confronted, her partner’s inconsistent explanation left her convinced he was being dishonest.
“I once received a message from a random account with screenshots, claiming they had been sending explicit photos to my partner. The person said they were testing our relationship, and my partner had liked some of the images. When I asked him about it, he gave a confusing story about people using his account, and I could just tell there were lies involved,” Vee concluded.
