Asake Launches Giran Republic Confirms Exit From YBNL

Popular Afrobeat singer Ahmed Ololade, popularly known as Asake, has finally confirmed that he has left Olamide’s YBNL Nation.

The exit was confirmed after the singer dispelled doubts about his controversial exit by releasing his new song, Why Love, under his imprint, Giran Republic.

Asake also hailed his former boss Olamide earlier in the year in his single ‘Military’ laying to final rest the rumor of a bad relationship between the duo.

Asake became a member of the YBNl family in 2022, while he later earned a distribution deal with Empire in July of the same year. He has yet to terminate his deal with the Empire despite leaving his former record label, YBNL.
